Dog Training

Our owner, operator and dog trainer, Emily, worked as a professional sea lion and dolphin trainer for the US Navy’s Marine Mammal program for over 6 years. She is a Certified Pet Dog Trainer as well.  These days, she focuses her energy on land mammals – dogs, puppies and their owners!

 

 

In Home Training

If you are feeling frustrated with your dog because of a specific problem, in home training is best for you.  Group classes are great, but in home real life situations are always best and help eliminate the problem fast.

 

Puppy Preschool (3 to 6 months)

In our puppy obedience class, dog owners learn important steps in becoming a strong leader, including positive reinforcement techniques and how to socialize their pets.
Good manners, potty training and bad chewing habits are addressed in this class. Puppies learn cues to sit, stay, come and how to walk on a leash.

 

 

Puppy Kindergarten (6 to 18 months)

Our class for older puppies, Puppy Kindergarten teaches dog owners how to establish leadership with their pets and builds on the training in our Preschool group – further manners training, leash walking, and any bad puppy habits will be addressed.

 

 

Basic Obedience Training (18 months & up)

This is for any owner and dog who need help with leadership, manners, jumping, walking, etc. You name it and we will work to train it!
